Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. seeks a WBL/ACT/OTP Coordinator to build and maintain work-based learning program linkages with local employers and ACT opportunities for students. You will coordinate student placements, provide career training support, and assist in applying for financial aid where appropriate.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and counseling skills, with responsibility for monitoring progress and ensuring attendance while adhering to program policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Associate’s degree in related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain WBL program linkages with local employers and ACT program opportunities for students.
• Maintain linkages with agencies, employers, and placement teams to aid student placement.
• Assist recruiters with outreach services as needed.
• Participate in career preparation periods and career transition activities.
• Counsel students regarding goals, options, requirements, services, etc.
• Assist students with resume preparation and job search activities.
• Coordinate placement of students in WBL and monitor progress and performance.
