Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in English and All Spoken Language.
• Ability to provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Current résumé in English during the application process.
• Basic computer and technology proficiency.
• Ability to travel to onsite assignments.
• Ability to meet health and immunization requirements as applicable.
• Background checks may be required for certain assignments.
• One or more years of interpreting experience.
• Experience in medical, legal, community or social services interpreting where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and client requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients and healthcare professionals.
