Job summary

Propio Language Services in the Boston area is seeking all spoken language onsite contract interpreters to facilitate accurate and meaningful communication across healthcare, education, government, and other settings.

You will provide consecutive interpretation between English and the other language, and may support remote interpretation by telephone or video when assignments allow, while upholding client requirements and Propio's professional ethics.

Qualifications

• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional proficiency in English and the target language.
• Ability to reliably travel to onsite assignments.
• Successful completion of relevant language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements.
