Job summary

Propio Language Services in Providence, RI is seeking on-site contract interpreters fluent in English and All Spoken Languages. You will provide consecutive interpretation for on-site assignments and remote interpretation when needed, adhering to strict confidentiality and professional standards.

This independent contractor role requires 18+, ability to travel to sites, language proficiency, and completion of credentialing evaluations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Proficiency in English and All Spoken Languages.
Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages.
Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate consecutive interpretation on-site in Providence, RI.
Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an assignment.
Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements including HIPAA/FERPA as applicable.
One or more years of professional interpreting experience and relevant credentials may be required by client/site requirements.
