Job summary

Rockler Seattle is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to greet customers, explain and demonstrate woodworking supplies, and close sales at the POS. You will also help maintain the sales floor and merchandise displays with a focus on a Total Solution approach.

In addition, you will assist with refunds, support customer service goals, and collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of woodworking and hand tools required.
• Previous retail sales experience desirable.
• Strong service orientation and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to understand customer requests and how to respond effectively.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and acknowledge them promptly.
• Assist with retail sales by answering questions and ringing sales on the POS.
• Promote Total Solution by suggesting related products and services.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked, and appealing displays.
• Handle refunds and complete necessary documentation.
• Refer customers to other sources when items are unavailable.
• May assist with unloading, pricing, and merchandising tasks.
• Attendance is essential and expected for every shift.
