Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school graduate or GED.
• Knowledge of woodworking and hand tools required.
• Previous retail sales experience desirable.
• Strong service orientation to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers as they enter the store and acknowledges customers promptly.
• Handles retail sales of products and rings sales on the POS.
• Promotes the Total solution approach by suggesting related items and services.
• Maintains clean, neat, well-stocked displays and store appearance.
• Handles refunds and prepares related documentation.
• Directs customers to other sources when item is unavailable.
• Assists with unloading/loading, pricing, and merchandising as needed.
• Attendance is essential and employees must be present for scheduled shifts.
