Wells Concrete Products, Inc. is hiring a Wood Shop Carpenter in Texas to cut and shape materials for panels and fabricate blank-out material. The role involves reading pour sheets, operating saws and nail guns, assembling forms, and moving materials on site.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic math and tape measure skills, and prefer carpentry training. Safety, teamwork, and independent work are valued in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; carpentry training preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Technical training or work experience in carpentry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Wells Concrete products and material compatibility is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Reads and comprehends pour sheets.
• Cuts insulation and blank-out material for panels and nailers.
• Operates table saws, band saws, miter saws, pneumatic nail guns safely.
• Cuts and assembles wood components to form shapes for panels and bulkheads.
• Seals wood forms and prepares blanks/notches for projects.
• Prepares materials and sets up beds, including drilling holes in wood forms.
• Transports wood forms to production for painting or varnishing.
• Works indoors and outdoors; uses forklifts to move materials.
• Complies with BSP safety program and housekeeping standards.
