Quick Tie Products, Inc. is seeking a Structural Drafter/Designer to develop CAD drawings for wood-frame multi-family projects. The role emphasizes truss and structural components, with involvement from design through field installation.

The candidate will create 2D AutoCAD shop drawings, 3D RevIt models, and support engineers to obtain approvals, while guiding projects to completion and assisting customers on designs and field installs.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD and Revit skills range from introductory to expert level.
• Knowledge of roof truss design components is required.
• Experience with wood frame, multi-family design/drafting is preferred.
• Ability to read Structural, Architectural and Truss layout plans.

Responsabilités

• Use AutoCAD and Revit to create shop drawings for wood frame multi-family construction project submittals.
• Demonstrate knowledge of shear wall and roof truss design.
• Create 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in Revit.
• Interpret engineering calculations into constructible drawings.
• Work with structural engineers to obtain shop drawing approvals.
• Serve as a secondary contact for customers regarding designs and field installations.
• Coordinate and manage each project through completion.
