Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of Wood Truss Designer experience.
• Experience working with one or more of these softwares: Mitek, Alpine, Eagle Metal, Simpson Strong-tie.

Aufgaben

• Develops layout and design drawings from architectural drawings or sketches.
• Makes phone calls to building designers to obtain or clarify information.
• Generate placement plans, identifying the location of designs.
• Obtains information pertaining to field modified or damaged products.
• Analyzes technical data to determine if design meets specifications.
• Confers with technical personnel and prepares design modifications.
• Analyzes plans and diagrams to determine material specifications.
• Writes technical descriptions specifying material qualities.
• Draws rough sketches or arranges for finished drawings.
