Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC seeks an experienced Truss Designer to create floor and roof truss placement plans, design drawings, and quotes using proprietary software.

The role supports customers and sales staff on technical aspects of truss components for residential and commercial projects. This office-based position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with CAD and related drafting tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and engineer guidance while collaborating with team

Qualifications

• Experience with truss design and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create floor and roof truss placement plans and design drawings using blueprints and customer specs.
• Produce truss quotes and shop paperwork for manufacturing.
• Review colleagues' work to reduce design errors.
• Communicate technical aspects with customers, general contractors and sales staff.
