Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd. is seeking a Finishing/Coating Sales Specialist (Outside Sales) to grow our New Jersey territory, including parts of New York City. The role requires living in the territory and traveling to customer sites four days a week.

You will advise cabinet and furniture manufacturers on Richelieu Finishing solutions, stay current with product offerings, and manage CRM records to drive territory growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Technically minded with education or experience in chemistry/science.
• Knowledge of wood coatings or powder/spray coatings.
• Willingness to participate in coatings/finishing training.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales activities with cabinet/furniture manufacturers in your territory.
• Sell Richelieu Finishing products (Coatings, Sundries, Abrasives, Paint equipment) through consultative discussions.
• Schedule face-to-face consultations with customers; expand relationships and acquire new accounts.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and provide timely reporting.
