Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd seeks a Wood Coatings / Finishing Sales Specialist to grow the local sales region in Alabama. This technical sales role drives relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, promoting Richelieu finishing solutions (coatings, sundries, abrasives). You will travel in the field and report on activity in CRM.

Requirements include a chemistry/ science background, a university degree, and strong communication skills. A competitive package with commissions is offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in chemistry or science preferred.
• Background in coatings or spray finishes is a plus.
• Experience with CRM software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales with cabinet and furniture manufacturers in territory.
• Conduct consultative sales discussions and position finishing solutions.
• Schedule face-to-face visits 3–4 days per week with customers.
• Maintain CRM data and reporting; learn Richelieu Finishing products.
