Job summary

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of Service Line senior management, providing leadership and subject matter expertise.
• Represents the Service Line in Division and Area initiatives related to access, teammate engagement, patient experience, and quality.
• Partners with leadership to evaluate, prioritize, and model financial impact of strategic programs and clinical initiatives.
• Leads monthly operational performance reviews, monitors budgets, analyzes variances, and implements corrective actions.
• Develops and implements annual business plans, growth strategies, and operational objectives aligned with Service Line and Area priorities.
• Oversees ambulatory services across the care continuum, ensuring clinical quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
• Builds and leads high‑performing teams, fostering collaboration, engagement, and accountability.
• Supports program planning for new facilities and services; leads integration and optimization of operations and best practices.
• Partners with physician and nursing leaders to advance clinical programs and innovation.
• Leads negotiation, oversight, and management of physician contracts to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Directly manages service line administrative leaders, including hiring, development, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Leads workforce strategy, including staffing, leadership development, and retention efforts.
• Collaborates on development and management of operating and capital budgets and long‑term financial planning.
• Identifies and implements efficiency opportunities and value capture initiatives across sites of care.
• Monitors financial, quality, and operational performance metrics and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champions patient safety, quality improvement, and patient experience efforts in partnership with clinical leadership.
• Supports development and implementation of new programs and services based on community and market needs.
• Partners with marketing and community relations to enhance access and awareness of services.
