Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a part-time Women’s Health RN to join the team on nights (12-hour shifts) with self-scheduling and day-to-day float assignments. The role requires 2 years of Women’s Health (Labor & Delivery and Postpartum) experience, plus BLS/ACLS certifications and an active RN license.

BSN preferred; duties include engagement in governance and quality initiatives, evidence-based practice adoption, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation while floating to designated

Qualifications

• 2 years Women’s Health RN experience (Labor & Delivery and Postpartum).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active RN license in IL or multi-state compact.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and care improvement using evidence-based practices.
• Applies nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, involving patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to optimize outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
