Qualifications

• Minimum two years of referral management and care coordination experience.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of managed care referral processes and medical terminology.
• Experience navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Exceptional multitasking ability in high-volume environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer proficiency, including Windows-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and adjust provider schedule templates aligned with productivity standards.
• Monitor schedules to ensure appropriate and timely patient placement.
• Manage referrals and secure authorizations for procedures and high-risk cases.
• Supervise and train Women’s Health Referral Specialists.
• Approve PTO, review timecards, and maintain team accountability.
• Maintain up-to-date referral resource databases.
• Support quality, financial, and performance metrics across the department.
• Communicate clearly with patients and care teams to coordinate next steps.
