Job summary

Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Women’s Health in Tampa, FL. The role involves specialized nursing care across the reproductive life cycle, coordination with Ob/Gyn teams, and support for quality improvement in a non-hospital outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include triage, patient education, medication administration, and cross-site care coordination to ensure high-quality, accessible women’s health services for the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred; ADN required.
• Current Florida RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2–3 years obstetrics/gynecology or community health experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel between multiple women’s health clinic sites to provide nursing care.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Review abnormal test results; coordinate follow-up care.
• Provide explanations of abnormal results and next steps to patients.
• Perform triage assessments for urgent or emergent concerns.
• Coordinate with obstetric teams to meet pre-procedure requirements.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist with gynecological exams, prenatal care, and office procedures.
• Educate patients on reproductive health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate records and clinic policies adherence.
