Job summary

Din Tai Fung North America is seeking a Wok Line Cook for our Manhattan location. You will prepare wok dishes following Din Tai Fung recipes, cook times, techniques, and plating standards to ensure flavor, quality, and consistency.

You will verify ingredient quality, finish dishes with proper garnishes, maintain a clean wok station, and participate in monthly department meetings for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Open Availability.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized.
• Organizes items within walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables up to 50 pounds.
• Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen.
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information and SOPs.
