Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a per diem Wound Ostomy Certified Nurse (WOCN) for day shifts, weekdays and weekends. The role coordinates the WOCN outpatient clinic and inpatient units, triages consults, and helps manage daily patient assignments and follow-ups.

You will collaborate with Nursing Directors and referring physicians, providing support to the WOCN team and contributing to program development and outcomes as part of a patient‑centered care culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Oregon RN license required upon hire.
• BLS from American Heart Association required upon hire.
• WOCN national certification required upon hire.
• 5 years of WOC nursing experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the WOCN outpatient clinic and inpatient nursing units.
• Triage patient consults and manage daily patient flow.
• Serve as a resource to WOCN team and other disciplines; support program development and outcomes.
