Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in the United States is seeking an Advisor, Software Developer -- IIB to lead and implement software solutions within a team environment. You will design, code, test, and deploy using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, and Java, while mentoring others and ensuring SDLC compliance.

You will work on integrating warehouse systems, analyzing issues, and providing strong documentation and technical guidance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience: 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Technical expertise in Java (1.4+), JSP, XML, HTML, JavaScript.
• Databases: Oracle 9+; SQL and PL/SQL.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and support Sterling WMS components.
• Analyze WMS issues across inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows.
• Encode, test, debug, and document complex software.
• Review, analyze, troubleshoot, and modify core software.
• Provide after-hours or on-call support as required.
