FedEx Supply Chain seeks an Advisor, Software Developer -- IIB to lead software development and integration efforts within IT Development. You will design, test, and deploy solutions spanning MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, Java, EDI, Oracle DB, SOAP/REST services, and data workflows.

The role requires an 8+ year track record, strong Java/JSP/XML/HTML/JavaScript skills, and experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and integration tools. On-site role with mentoring responsibilities and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software development and integration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, and integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor in a team, applying systems thinking across lifecycle stages.
• Integrate and support Sterling WMS components and enterprise apps.
• Analyze, debug, and document complex software; develop prototypes.
• Design, test, and deploy applications using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESB, API Connect, and web services.
• Provide on-call support and resolve escalated technical issues.
• Create test plans, review deliverables, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop data-related files, run queries, and generate reports.
• Follow SDLC standards and mentor junior developers.
