Job summary

Crossroads Turning Points in Trinidad, CO 81082 is seeking a Withdrawal Management Specialist to coordinate and monitor patient activities in the withdrawal unit during 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role requires high school completion and CAT certification or progression toward it.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in human services or a related field is preferred.
• Current certification as a Certified Addiction Technician (CAT) or ability to obtain it within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs as needed (training will be provided).
• Conduct intake screens and assess patients; collect drug/alcohol use, medical, social history, and needs.
• Provides physician with information on medical issues, medication clearance, and monitors medications.
• Provides case management; conducts individual and group sessions; completes paperwork; monitors patients.
• Assists in referrals for medical/mental health treatment and informs supervisor of incidents.
• Verify the accuracy of monitoring reports.
