Job summary

Health Solutions West in Grand Junction is seeking an Addiction Technician (Part Time) to support clients in Withdrawal Management and residential settings. You will provide milieu management, advocacy, mentoring, and wellness coaching.

This role requires CAC certification, CPR/BLS and de-escalation training prior to independent care, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• CAC certification required.
• Experience in human services preferred.
• Must have valid Colorado Driver’s License.
• Ability to work irregular hours including days, swings, graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide milieu management in Withdrawal Management and Residential programs.
• Serve as client advocate, mentor, and model wellness and recovery.
• Engage clients in withdrawal management-specific therapy and monitor detox/withdrawal.
• Document client recovery process in the EHR and coordinate with the treatment team.
