Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking driven external sales professionals to plan and execute sales activities for the fire service market. Build relationships with fire and EMT decision-makers and manage product/service quality while earning commissions on gross profit.

Most representatives work full-time or as a strong secondary income, with territory ownership that rewards growth. Firefighter experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Understanding of customer service principles.
• Understanding of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Negotiate sales terms and close deals.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
