Job summary

Kelly is seeking a hands-on assembler in North Charleston, SC, to perform mechanical assembly and basic wiring in a production environment. The role requires reading assembly diagrams and using hand and power tools to build components according to detailed instructions.

You will collaborate with the team, report to the Production Supervisor, and meet production goals while safely lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining an organized workspace.

Pay Rate: $22/hr while you train on 1st , then $23 once you go to 2nd shift

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:30 pm (Overtime available; initial training on 1st shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly and basic wiring tasks (excludes wiring harnesses) in a production setting
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, build, and wire components according to detailed instructions
• Accurately read and follow assembly diagrams and work instructions
• Collaborate with the team and report to the Production Supervisor to meet production goals
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs and maintain an organized workspace

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on assembly skills
• Ability to follow instructions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled hours and required overtime (currently 10–12 hour shifts)
• Capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs and working extended shifts when needed
• Experience using basic hand and power tools in an industrial or production environment preferred, but not required
