Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Wireline Field Operator to join the OFS Wireline Team. You will be responsible for all field and shop duties, tool maintenance, and ensuring a high level of safety and customer service at the well site.

You must maintain equipment, perform pre/post-job checks, and operate with a Class A/B CDL and Hazmat endorsement within 6 months. Flexible on-site locations and 24x7 on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs and perform tool maintenance, pre-job, and post-job tool checkout.
• Rig up and rig down equipment at the well site.
• Service mechanical devices and build logging cable heads.
• Perforate cable heads and maintain tools.
• Maintain well site/DOT records and communications.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations.
• Receive instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activity.
• Perform basic duties at the well site and at the shop.
• Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement for ballistics operations.
• Supervise and train other Field Operators while maintaining safety awareness.
• Perform other related duties as required.
