Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Wireline Field Operator to join the OFS Wireline Team. The role covers pre-job through post-job duties at well sites and in the shop, including tool maintenance and training of junior operators.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a strong mechanical aptitude, and CDL with Hazmat, or be willing to obtain them within six months. Travel and on-call work are required in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ to obtain ATF explosives certification.
• CDL with Hazmat endorsement or able to obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs and perform tool maintenance, pre-job and post-job tool checkout.
• Rig up and rig down equipment at the well site.
• Service mechanical devices and build logging cable heads.
• Perforate cable heads and maintain tools.
• Maintain well site/DOT records and client communications as required by District Manager.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations.
• Train junior operators and supervise field operations, ensuring safety.
