Job summary

Victra is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a sales team and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a Verizon authorized retail store.

You will coach sales specialists, drive sales targets, and manage daily operations, including merchandising and inventory. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and achieving performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor and coach team members to reach next level of performance.
• Oversee daily operations and store merchandising to meet company standards.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly goals with the sales team and monitor progress.
• Train and mentor staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Manage staffing needs, cash handling, and compliance to ensure store uptime.
• Maintain inventory, restock shelves, and ensure planogram compliance.
• Open and close the store as part of routine operations.
