Job summary

TCC Wireless LLC in New Lenox, IL is hiring a Retail Sales Representative to connect customers with the T-Mobile brand and help them choose the best plans and devices. The role is fast-paced, energetic, and focused on delivering top customer experiences.

You will greet customers, drive revenue, handle activations and payments, stock the floor, and uphold store standards while meeting performance targets. 18+ and legal work eligibility required; prior retail or sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months experience in retail and/or sales with a strong customer focus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
• Professional, energetic, honest, patient and empathetic.
• Ability to problem solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make good decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides world-class customer service including greeting customers in the stores, answering phones and assessing their needs.
• Drives monthly revenue goals through acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing customers’ accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and excelling in quality metrics.
• Builds relationships with store customers and employees across channels of the business.
• Operates the retail facility with duties including cash handling, inventory counts and deposits in line with standards.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains store appearance and cleanliness of back room, restrooms and work area.
• Assists customers with service activations, changes and bill payments, equipment replacement, and price plan upgrades.
• Meets assigned performance metrics.
