Job summary

BearCom is hiring an Installation Technician to join our Houston-area team. You will install data cabling and mounting infrastructure, assist with commissioning of communications and low voltage systems, and perform site surveys to support customer proposals.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, basic tool proficiency, and a valid driver's license. Travel, on-call duties, and on-site training are included with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience installing CAT 5/6 cables and coax
• Experience installing building-enterprise comms systems; DAS a plus
• Installation/repair in two-way radio, CCTV, security alarms, RF, broadband, low voltage systems
• Read wiring diagrams and basic DC circuit theory a plus
• Use basic tools and test equipment (hand tools, drills, meters)
• OSHA safety and low voltage certs are a plus
• Must have valid driver’s license and high school diploma
• Drug screening and background checks are part of hiring process
• Company covers fees for most professional certifications

• Company vehicle use while servicing customers

Responsibilities

• Physical installation of data cabling and mounting infrastructure
