Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless and electronic communications systems for diverse customers. You will perform data cabling and mounting tasks, support commissioning, and conduct site walks to shape customer proposals.

Travel and on-call duties may be required, with per diem provided when traveling. The ideal candidate has basic electronics knowledge, can read blueprints, and is comfortable with PPE and basic tools.

Qualifications

• Basic Electronics background preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints/diagrams is a plus.
• OSHA safety training and Low Voltage certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of communications and low voltage systems.
• Perform site walks to determine installation requirements for customer proposals.
• Recommend equipment and hardware meeting customer requirements.
• Some regional/overnight travel and on-call hours may be required; per diem provided when traveling.
