Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician in Orange, CA to install data cabling and support wireless communications systems. You will join a team focused on delivering reliable service with strong customer support and technical problem-solving, contributing to high-quality installations across client sites.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and occasional regional travel. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with OSHA and low voltage certifications

Qualifications

• Basic electronics knowledge is required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Experience reading blueprints or diagrams is a plus.
• Data cabling experience (CAT5/6, coaxial, fiber) is preferred.
• OSHA safety training and low voltage certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of communications and low voltage systems.
• Conduct site walks to determine installation needs for proposals.
• Recommend equipment and hardware to meet customer requirements.
• Some regional travel and on-call hours may be required; per diem provided when traveling.
