Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless and electronic communications systems at client sites in Broken Arrow, OK. You will perform physical data cabling, mounting, and system support, while delivering high-quality customer service and practical solutions.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs., operate tools, read blueprints, and travel as needed. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required; on-the-job training and benefits are

Qualifications

• Experience with installing CAT5/6 cable and related support devices.
• Experience with DAS or distributed antenna systems preferred.
• Installation/repair in two-way radio, CCTV, security alarms, RF distribution, broadband and low voltage systems preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and endure outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of wireless and low voltage systems.
• Conduct site walks to determine installation requirements for customer proposals.
• Recommend equipment and hardware meeting customer requirements.
• Occasional regional travel and on-call hours with per diem when traveling.
