Job summary

Pierson Wireless Corp. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair wireless systems on-site in the Indianapolis area. The role involves site surveys, cabling per drawings, and documenting installations in the company cloud.

The candidate will work under Project Foreman or Market Manager, with expected travel and occasional weekend/night work to close out projects; safety training is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 10 hour certification preferred; OSHA 30 hour preferred.
• Low voltage cable installation experience preferred.
• Fiber optic fusion splicing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs antennas and mounts equipment per iBwave or construction drawings.
• Operate hand-tools, various man-lifts, and test equipment for installation.
• Provide test results to evidence proper installation by contractors.
• Maintain communication with market manager, supervisors, and teammates.
• Document work and times in Pierson Wireless’ project management system.
• Travel may be required during a normal business week, Monday through Friday.
• Weekend and night work may be required to complete closeout packages.
