Job summary

IDS International is seeking a Wireless Technician II at our Muscatatuck, Indiana site to support installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless communications systems. The role requires experience with RF systems, signal planning, RF analysis, and resolving RF issues to ensure reliable network performance across environments.

Candidates must be able to work flexible shifts and hold an Active Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
Active Secret security clearance required.
Minimum of five years installing, operating, and maintaining radio equipment HF–EHF.
Experience with signal planning and RF analysis to determine placement and power needs.
Experience troubleshooting RF issues.

Responsibilities

Install, operate, and maintain radio equipment ranging from HF through EHF systems.
Support wireless communications infrastructure and associated equipment.
Conduct signal planning and RF analysis activities.
Determine appropriate radio placement and transmission power requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve RF-related issues and performance problems.
Monitor communications systems to ensure reliable operation.
Perform routine maintenance and operational checks on radio systems.
Assist in configuring and testing wireless communications equipment.
Maintain technical documentation and equipment records.
Coordinate with stakeholders to support communications requirements and mission objectives.
