Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC seeks a Technician II - MVA Wireboards on 2nd shift. The role involves interpreting manufacturing drawings, wiring, and building subassemblies at our Greenwood facility.

You will work with hand and power tools, perform inspections, and support engineering with development work. Training will occur on first shift for initial period; eligibility for a variable pay program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Skilled in the knowledge and safe use of hand and air tools.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• No immigration sponsorship or support.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC only.

Responsibilities

• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.
• Report shortages to appropriate operators of Kanban inventory.
• Inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer adjustments.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues to transfer knowledge.
