Job summary

Eaton is seeking an IGX Wireboards Technician II for the 2nd shift at the Greenwood, SC facility located at 517 Puckett Ferry Road. The role includes wiring, mechanical work, and collaboration with engineering. First 90 days may run on first shift hours for training.

Eligible for a variable incentive program and shift differential of $1.00 per hour. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and hands-on tool experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand and pneumatic (air) tools.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
• No relocation assistance; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC only.

Responsibilities

• Follow drawings, instructions, and procedures.
• Complete ISO, quality, customer, and production checklists.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations.
• Regularly lift and assemble heavy copper components.
• Report Kanban inventory shortages to operators.
• Inspect assemblies for missing or loose hardware and ensure cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer-driven updates.
• Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues for knowledge transfer.
