Job summary

Saint Croix Inc. in Winona, MN, seeks a full-time Work in Progress (WIP) Coordinator to oversee production flow, inventory control, and process improvements.

This role collaborates with Production, Product Development, Quality, and Inventory teams to move prototypes and orders efficiently while meeting quality standards and deadlines. The WIP Coordinator will monitor WIP, maintain records, and generate reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track WIP inventory across all production stages.
• Maintain production records and inventory transactions.
• Coordinate production flow to ensure timely movement of materials and products.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production bottlenecks and workflow issues.
• Support Product Development and Production teams to ensure prototypes and production runs meet specifications.
• Verify that quality standards and production requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process.
• Assist with inventory counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Monitor waste and report opportunities for material and process improvements.
• Assist with workflow tasks such as raveling and trim control procedures.
• Generate and maintain production, inventory, and WIP reports.
• Communicate production status and inventory needs with cross-functional departments.
