Benchmark in Minnesota seeks a Production Coordinator to align activities between Production, Planning, Support, Engineering and Materials. You will drive continuous improvement across systems and teams to ensure on-time manufacturing.

Responsibilities include monitoring work orders, leading meetings to close overdue WOs, coordinating rework, and ensuring accurate documentation and progress reporting. A HS diploma and 2+ years in electronics manufacturing are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years electronics manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of production scheduling systems.
• Ability to train Production Leaders in scheduling concepts and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor work order (WO) due dates to recognize trends and ensure on-time shipment; keep management informed on product flow.
• Lead recurring meetings to drive closure of overdue WOs.
• Coordinate rework and upgrades WOs with relevant teams (Cage, PPS, BaaN).
• Serve as the focal point for machine line scheduling for backlogged machines on conflicting priorities.
• Coordinate production output goal setting for any special circumstances.
• Serve as focal point for Support for changes to machine line or Wave operations PMs.
• Research and correct discrepancies on sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Liaise with Configuration Analysts, Schedulers, Stockroom and Production Leaders for releases, priorities, holds, and shortages.
• Ensure timely documentation, database management, progress reports and corrective actions.
• Coordinate completion of ASRs and RMRs, including data entry to scrap tracker.
• Track daily status and progress and resolve issues with support groups.
• Review material discrepancy reports and adjust tracking as needed.
• Maintain tracker for containment inventory on the production floor.
• Monitor releases to align with customer forecast.
• Work with leadership to locate aged WIP.
• Coordinate movement of WIP between departments or facilities.
• All employees contribute to quality and customer satisfaction.
