Job summary

University of Virginia Host Properties Inc is seeking team members to support Winter Wander at Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville. Roles include ticketing, retail, photography attendant, bar staff and runner; assignments rotate by show and are discussed with the Director of Special Events.

You must be available nights and weekends, attend orientation on Nov 5, 7 or 9, and perform other duties as assigned. This role emphasizes Forbes standards and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Current high school or college student with interest in hospitality or events.
• Experience in hospitality and/or events is preferred.
• Familiarity with online ticketing systems and Microsoft Office apps.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Staff Winter Wander to support show operations and food & beverage.
• Roles include ticketing, retail, photography attendant, bar staff, runner.
• Roles may rotate; discuss assignments with the Director of Special Events.
• Follow supervisor directions and ensure Forbes/CORE standards.
• Work nights and weekends, including holidays, as required.
• Attend orientation on Nov 5, 7, or 9; perform other duties as assigned.
