Job summary

Sundance is seeking a Winter Lead Specialist to guide the rental team and ensure guest satisfaction. The role involves overseeing POS operations, training junior staff, and maintaining service standards across rental, retail, and back-shop duties.

The position requires a High School diploma, 2 years’ rental experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shift coverage includes weekends and holidays at multiple time slots.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Rental Specialist level 1 or equivalent in a rental setting.
• Basic computer & word processing skills include internet, spreadsheets.
• Binding manufacturer certifications to be obtained during training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training SMO Specialist Level 1 & 2 in basic functions and responsibilities.
• Lead staff to meet service standards and enforce dress code.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions and cash, including returns and refunds.
• Coordinate with Ski School for learn-to-ski programs and organize fittings.
• Perform back shop duties (waxing, edge work, tuning) and inventory tasks.
• Supervise up to 15 Rental Specialists in the absence of managers.
• Maintain retail displays and assist in quarterly inventory.
