Homewood Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe is seeking an Outdoor Pursuits Supervisor to lead the winter program, supervise guides and instructors, and uphold service standards for members and guests. You will manage safety, staffing, scheduling, and cross-department collaboration, ensuring seamless operations across ski, snowshoe, backcountry, and avalanche education programs.

The role requires strong leadership, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work flexible hours during peak winter

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury resort setting or related hospitality field.
• Minimum 2 years of direct staff supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of winter mountain operations; AIARE certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
• First Aid/CPR qualified.
• Previous experience teaching or coaching outdoor activities.
• Previous experience in the guest service industry.

Responsabilidades

• Directly supervise winter Outdoor Pursuits staff and ensure adequate daily coverage.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage promotions, corrective action, and terminations with HR.
• Support recruiting and onboarding of winter Outdoor Pursuits staff.
• Run and attend staff daily briefings and participate in duty management schedule.
• Foster a collaborative, team-first culture reflecting service and safety standards.
• Oversee safety program including risk assessments, incident response, and certification tracking.
• Lead programming across ski, snowboard, snowshoe, backcountry, and related activities.
• Perform daily department administration including scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll input.
• Coordinate cross-department with Member Services, Sales & Marketing, and Wellness.
