Job summary

Homewood Mountain & Lake Club in Lake Tahoe, CA, seeks an Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator for the winter season. You will coordinate on-mountain and backcountry activities, manage bookings, schedule Guides and Coaches, and ensure high-quality member experiences throughout the season.

The role involves daily administration, safety protocols, and cross-department collaboration, reporting to the Outdoor Pursuits Director/Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service industries.
• Experience in winter resort or mountain operations preferred.
• Strong math, accounting and critical reasoning skills.
• Clear communication and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Winter Operations & Administration: manage daily activations and admin tasks across winter Outdoor Pursuits activities; process bookings and reservations.
• Guide & Team Coordination: assign Guides, Attendants, and Coaches; coordinate avalanche education calendar and track certifications.
• Member & Guest Experience: greet members, ensure exceptional service, respond to emails and requests.
• Daily Duties & Reporting: maintain tidy winter areas; compile and distribute daily activity and conditions reports; manage checks on equipment.
• Cross-Department Coordination: liaise with Facilities and Member Services; communicate gaps and improvement opportunities to leadership.
