Job summary

Homewood Mountain Resort seeks an Outdoor Pursuits Supervisor to lead the winter team, including the Coordinator, Guides, Coaches, and Attendants, delivering safe and exceptional on-mountain experiences.

The role reports to the Director of Club Operations and oversees the winter operating plan, safety standards, and staffing schedule. Strong leadership and clear communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury resort setting or related hospitality field.
• Minimum 2 years of direct staff supervision experience required.
• Strong knowledge of winter mountain operations; AIARE certification or equivalent preferred.
• First Aid/CPR qualified.
• Experience teaching or coaching outdoor activities.
• Guest service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Outdoor Pursuits team throughout the winter season.
• Oversee safety program, risk assessments, incident response and certification tracking.
• Manage daily program execution across ski, snowboard, snowshoe, backcountry, and tours.
• Handle scheduling, payroll input, and budget awareness for the winter department.
• Coordinate with other departments for member events and guest experiences.
