Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking an Outdoor Pursuits Supervisor for Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. You will lead the winter Outdoor Pursuits team, supervising the Coordinator, Guides, Coaches, and Attendants to deliver safe, exceptional on-mountain and backcountry experiences throughout the season.

Reporting to the Director of Club Operations, you will manage safety programs, staffing, and guest service while upholding service standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury resort setting or related hospitality field.
• Minimum 2 years of direct staff supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of winter mountain operations, including ski, snowboard, and backcountry programming.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator, Guides, Coaches, Attendants through the winter season.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage promotions, corrective action, and terminations for direct reports.
• Support recruiting and onboarding of winter Outdoor Pursuits staff, in partnership with leadership and HR.
• Oversee safety program, risk assessments, incident response, and certification tracking.
