Job summary

HSHS is offering a Nursing Internship across multiple departments in Illinois and Wisconsin. The program targets nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation and will run from late December 2026 to early January 2027.

Applicants must be enrolled in or recently graduated from an ADN/BSN/MSN program and must not require visa sponsorship. Mentorship and professional development are emphasized throughout the internship period.

Qualifications

• Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited ADN, BSN or MSN program, or graduated with ADN/BSN within the previous 1 year.
• Student must have successfully completed at least one clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop nursing and documentation skills under supervision in a hospital setting.
• Gain clinical and professional experience in patient-centered care.
• Exposure to innovative concepts in health care practice and mentorship from experienced staff.
