St. John's Hospital is seeking motivated nursing graduates for a Nurse Extern II role with a path to RN after licensure. The position covers full-time night shifts (36 hours/week) across various units in Illinois/Wisconsin with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for approved units.
Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing program with licensure eligibility and BLS; Illinois licensure within 90 days and Wisconsin temporary permit are required where applicable.
Pay Range: $34.00 - $51.00 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Applicant must not require sponsorship for an employment visa, either now or in the future.
Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Previous healthcare or service industry experience is preferred.
Illinois: License pending designation in Illinois is required as permitted in the CTS letter. Obtaining licensure within 90 days from the official date of passing the licensure exam is required.
Wisconsin: Temporary Permit is required. Obtaining licensure within three months of temporary permit issue date is required. A temporary permit may be renewed once for an additional three-month period.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
