Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring Ten Peaks General Manager for Winter Seasonal in Crested Butte, CO. The role oversees the entire restaurant operation, front and back of house, and aims for guest and employee excellence during the Winter season.

Starting wage ranges from $58,298 to $83,283 with an annual bonus; at least 5 years in restaurant work with 1 year in management is required. Housing is available, and the position is full-time equivalent for the winter season.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant experience with at least 1 year at a managerial level.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry 40+ lbs.
• TIPS certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Serve Safe Food Protection Manager certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Sets the example for service standards, menu knowledge, wine and beverage education, and overall service excellence.
• Manages floor operations, revenue accounting, scheduling, payroll, inventory and daily logs.
• Implements Mountain Dining policies, procedures and training.
• Ensures guests receive welcome, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Drives sales, service quality, facility appearance and sanitation through staff development.
• Controls cash handling and reconciliation per restaurant policies.
