Job summary

Ferrovial’s Webber division in Canada seeks a Loader Operator to support snow removal and winter maintenance under supervision. The role emphasizes safe equipment operation, routine checks, and timely task completion on site.

The incumbent will de-ice, clear snow, and work with the crew to meet project specifications while following safety protocols in all weather conditions. A valid Ontario G license and loader certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years related work experience in construction or road maintenance (outdoor work).
• Experience operating a loader in winter maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently for snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report issues.
• Clear snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, bus stops, and drainage components per project specs.
• Collaborate with team Supervisors and members to complete tasks on time.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for a safe work environment.
• Assist with de-icing and salting operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report progress and obstacles to the supervisor.
