Job summary

East West Hospitality’s Café 52 at Stag Lodge in Park City, UT seeks a reliable Kitchen Steward to keep the kitchen clean and organized for the winter season. You’ll wash dishes, maintain equipment, and support a busy culinary team in a fast-paced setting.

This full-time seasonal role runs November through early April, Thursday to Monday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, with holidays and weekends required. Pay is $22–$24 per hour, based on experience, with benefits including sick time, a winter bonus, and

Qualifications

• Dishwashing or kitchen experience welcome; no previous experience required.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures and work steadily during busy periods.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25–50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in hot and humid conditions.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions to management.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen areas, including floors, walls, shelving, and trash disposal areas.
• Ensure handwashing stations are properly stocked with soap, paper towels, and other necessary supplies.
• Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks, including cleaning kitchen equipment, drains, ovens, grills, and walk-in coolers.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and kitchen staff to prioritize tasks and support smooth daily operations.
• Keep loading dock and waste disposal areas clean and organized, operating the cardboard baler and trash compactor as needed.
• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards while contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
