Job summary

State of South Dakota in Flandreau seeks Winter Maintenance Seasonal workers to keep state highways safe during winter storms. You will perform snow and ice removal and a range of highway maintenance tasks, with shifts day or night.

Responsibilities

• Snow and ice removal on State highways during winter weather.
• Perform highway maintenance tasks including maintenance of roadway surfaces and traffic control devices.
• Install, direct, and replace signs, delineators and permanent traffic control devices; perform equipment maintenance.
